What is Jewish Philosophy? It’s a good (and difficult) question. The Tanakh and Talmud do not strike us as works of philosophy, so when and how did it get it started? And what are the differences between the aims and method of Jewish philosophy in its medieval heyday and those of the modern and contemporary Jewish thinkers?
